Invitation
With the objective of exchanging experiences, generate new ideas and establish cross-border contact networks for further cooperation projects in the Baltic Sea Region, we are pleased to invite You to participate in the 2nd International Conference on the Baltic Sea Strategy. The two day’s programme envisages discussions on a range of topics essential for development of coastal areas, including Coastal Planning, Sustainable Tourism, Renewable Energy and Rural Entrepreneurship in Coastal Areas.
As the work of the conference proceeds much space will be devoted to discussions and Exchange of practical ideas using the World Café format.
This conference is arranged by Foundation of Environmental Education KEEP LATVIA TIDY (KLT) with the support of Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) and the Swedish Institute (SI).
We welcome officials working for state and municipal authorities and organisations, politicians, as well as people working for NGOs in the environmental sector and companies in coastal areas.
Practical Information:
• The working language at the conference will be English, but simultaneous translation into Latvian will also be provided
• Participation at the conference is free of charge
• All registered participants of the conference will be provided hotel accommodation for 2 nights 18th to 20th April, financed by the conference organizers
• All registered participants of the conference are welcome to coffee breaks and lunches, as well as a reception at 7 p.m. on 19th of April.
• The number of free of charge hotel rooms, paid by the organizers is limited, thus the room reservations will be provided in the order of receipt of Registration forms.
